This is NOT a list made from the ad...this is a "watch
list"...these items are either regular price or on sale this week (the
week before SDs) but warrant watching once the ad/sale breaks on Wed 2-20. Many times an item will remain on sale for a
week or several weeks at a time but won't hit the weekly ad. This has been a very labor intensive list,
it is not in any particular order except partially by my binder categories,
please...if you copy it all or in part, please give me credits :) thanks!
please...if you copy it all or in part, please give me credits :) thanks!
Always remember...it doesn't HAVE to be FREE, or even
extremely cheap for it to be a good deal for you...if it saves anything off
your "normal" grocery bill, then it's a savings.
There are many things to be ready the day of the sale. Even though we don't have the ad, we can
still be prepared.
2. Review and
retrieve all Ibotta cash back offers
3. Review all
available SavingStar
cash back offers
4. Clean out your
binder off all expired coupons
5. While you are
cleaning out your expired, lay your eyes on the $1.00-$2.00 off coupons (you
will recognize many of these if they become a hot deal once the ad week begins)
6. While scanning
your binder, use the online grocer to review prices/sales from the current week
by
logging onto Harris Teeter's online shopping site...you don't have to order
to review prices ;).
7. PRINT the coupons
that interest you...print when you find them as they sometimes disappear
quickly. (I miss them sometimes because I forget to print when I post them for you guys >.<)

Do I print all the available coupons? No, but I do print ANYthing that appeals to
me in some way. Anything that might be
free or cheap that I might not use goes straight into the donation box :)
8. Review all your rainchecks...rainchecks
never expire so if you use them during a SD event, not only do you get the sale
price on the RC but you can super double your coupon...for example, I have a
Raincheck for Hershey's Simple Pleasures 2/$6.00 plus a couple printables for
$1.50 off so they would be FREE next week.
9. Review the Harris Teeter coupon policy! << We follow the rules ;)
10. Check your Catalina offers! <<< You click on the link/tab that says "Your Bucks Offers" to see if you have any potential for Cats to print.

I am contacting Corporate to see if I can get the ads over
the weekend before the sales so I can work the deals up early for you guys like
some others do...if they do it for the others, there should be a way for me to
be able to do it too ;)
Not all coupons will score huge deals or freebie/cheap
items...BUT in order to take advantage of the best offers (and be ready before
the stock is gone from the shelves) you should be familiar with your coupons,
have them printed/cut, sorted and organized!
